adc Posted April 14, 2011 Share Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) Hi, My Tokia Jazz sound bass for sale. Its not my main bass and only being sold to raise a bit of cash. Block logo means its apparently a 1983/84. Serial no L04719. Made in Japan sticker on the bottom of the neck. As you guys on here no doubt know this is a pretty respected instrument and not just a crappy Jazz copy, and quite rare now. Scratchplate is gone but a standard jazz stratchplate will fit (obviously), and there are a few stratches and chips on the butt (pics below). I just use it for demoing at home, but an experienced player would want to get it the neck set up before gigging it. But then it is a 27 year old bass. ( edit - to be clear, I have used this bass for 10 years and the neck is fine for me, was just stating a cavaet in case ere was some very particular folks on here - I'll post better photos of the neck this evening) Seen these go for £500-600 in mint condition. This is NOT a mint condition example but will clean up and still sounds great. I'm a reasonable man and looking for quick sale so i'm only looking for £300. Ono.
