So do we prefer maple theory or rosewood theory? And can you hear the difference? I like active theory more than passive, but which is better?

Too simplistic, you're choosing to ignore the Vistalites, or even stainless steel...
...and what about electronics? Is emulation or synthesis defendable? Personally I'm for maple, but birch has a following too...
