Tokai Jazz Sound with or with pickguard

i need help , i have a tokai jazz sound without a pickguard . i think it looks a bit bare so i got a pickguard but i am not to sure which looks better , so maybe fellow basschatters can help me

Personally, I think you can only get away with no pickguard on a sunburst, or something that's an interesting piece of wood - plain colours don't do it for me.
