rmshaw37 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 (edited) overwater progress 3 deluxe 5 stringer 19 mm string spacing at bridge mahogany body, maple top 36" scale through neck(which isn't as scary as it sounds, and best b string i've ever played!) rosewood fingerboard xlr plus jack outputs - ideal for or direct to desk recording i'd value this bass at £1200 (i know they are worth more - curent market and all that) but hit me with an offer for it! this really is a superb bass, but way too nice for me! i think we have about 3 songs that require 5 strings, and we dont play those very often, and i have practice basses trying to finish my rig, so....... possible part trades: ampeg 810 in good condition (must be bi amp one) pics: [attachment=77687:ow5.jpg] [attachment=77688:ow4.jpg] [attachment=77690:ow3.jpg] [attachment=77691:ow2.jpg] [attachment=77689:ow1.jpg] thanks for looking! MythSte Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Grand and a half for this and a Shuttle 6 seems like a pretty tasty deal to me!
rmshaw37 Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 why thankyou, i agree! theres a home made 210 chucked in too if it reaches that - unfinished job, but PLENTY good enough for bedroom use etc
rmshaw37 Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Bump - lots of offers on the gens Benz but none on this or the pedal train! Feel free to make an offer!
ThomBassmonkey Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 This bass is amazing, if it wasn't for the 36" scale and me being used to 34" (it really doesn't feel that bad though!), I'd have it by now. I played it a week or two back and it really is stunning. Rob's an awesome guy too. Really enjoyed chatting around his a while ago. Rob, we still need to sort you trying out my 212s once I'm back off tour!
rmshaw37 Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 thanks very much buddy, yeah i'll come down at some point, hope the tour is going well! plus bump for straight swap option - bongo 5hh or hs! tried one and GOOD GOD!
rmshaw37 Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 Obligatory 'how long since I bumped this' bump

rmshaw37 Posted May 31, 2011 Author Posted May 31, 2011 Don't resist monz!! Lol Right, will take £1000 for this, need to get my rig finished, and this is used in about 1 gig in every 10! Thanks for looking guys and gals!
ThomBassmonkey Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I'm surprised this hasn't gone. I've played it and it really is a stunning instrument, very articulate but still loads of bass on tap. It looks the mutt's nuts too as well as feeling incredibly well made.
rmshaw37 Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 down to £800 now - you could even make a profit when the market comes back!
lozbass Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Bargain - these sound phenomenal and are beautifully built
Oldman Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 This has got to be the bargain of the year so far..............
TorVic Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Oh man, would buy it in a flash if not for the 19mm spacing and 36" scale. All I can do is bump!
Kees_SoS Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Looks great! Still not gone? I'll be coming over to England (Crewe) in September; if for some strange reason it's not gone by then, I may well be interested. I have a 35" six-string Progress myself, but I'm considering switching back to a five. However, I'm not used to the 36" scale, so I'd have to try it.
