stef030 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 hope that the vast knowledge of basschat can help a man in a bit of a quandry, the three 4 strings I have are all jazzes, one fender late sisxties and 2 squiers, one twenty years old,the other a mod fretless, also have a cirrus 5 stringer, so the amount I know about p basses I could write in capitols on a stamp, I have the chance to get a mexican fender p bass for £200 as a debt thats owed, have had a look and played it,it could do with a restring and setup but sounds better than I remember when I had one in the seventies, I know that the money is a good deal, what can I possibly move this on for if I find I still want to use my jazzes thanks in advance stef Quote
sykilz Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 If it`s in pretty good nick you`d probably get £250-£300 on ebay, which SEEMS to be the best place to sell price wise, though the people on this site are more reliable/friendly in my experience ( I`ve sold and bought stuff on both sites.) £200 would be a steal for a nice condition example IMO. lojo Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 (edited) £200 for a MIM fender P is a great price if all it needs is a good setup to get it completely road worthy What is the body colour and fret board wood? Edited April 17, 2011 by lojo Quote
stef030 Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 thanks for that it is a deep maroon in color, and has a rosewood neck cheers stef Quote
Lozz196 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 That is a good price - for the buyer - for an MIM Precision. Quote
