bumnote
The Daddy From the 70s, the 301 was the bass cab to have, used by everyone in the day. Mcartney, Jaco,Humble Pie, Santana, you name it. Ive wanted one at the time but they were soo expensive. Bought it last year, sounds great, bit i dont really get the chance to use it. This is a serious bit of kit, gives huge sound with its original 18" Cerwin Vega loudspeaker. Its got some battle scars as you can imagine, Its big, and fairly heavy, but ive taken it out in the back of an estate, and moved it solo looking for £200 Edited April 26, 2011 by bumnote
lozbass
I too lusted after these in the '70s - utterly monstrous and THE cab to have. Eventually I got hold of something similar (custom build for Sad Cafe with a Cerwin Vega 18" and a front facing 12" driver) - it was fantastic - a killer punch 15-20' out from the stage. I have absolutely no use for such a cab now but would snap this up if I could justify it. Have a bump - wiping away a nostalgic tear.
