Bass lessons in Leeds/ Huddersfield area?!

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Bass tutor in the Leeds or Huddersfield area? I could maybe travel to Manchester but I would rather stay local(ish).

I am looking to improve my jazz and funk improvisations, I am also very keen to learn bass clef, I can read treble clef very well which comes from playing the saxophone for 7 years!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I've had lessons from Pete Laffan (you can search for him on the forum, or email using '[email protected]') before, very good player AND teacher (most important bit hey!). If you do a search using this name other people come up aswell. Hope this helps

Hi Gorden, thank you for the offer, I have already arranged lessons with Pete, starting tomorrow night ! Hopefully the travelling won't be too much of a problem, it is only one train ride away.

I used to have lessons with Pete Laffan who was absolutely brilliant and I (very) occasionally play in a band with Ruth and she's a great player too.
