I can't find a tab for the song that sounds right and after checking a few videos of it being played live they dont match the way Gould plays it anyway. Can someone please help me find a correct tab, or if they are feeling super generous, tab it for me

I love this track - makes me feel young again

I'm pretty sure it's just one note for the verse. Chugging 8th notes on the open E IIRC (like about half of that album). It sounds like he's doing a lot more because the drum pattern and keys give the illusion that there's a lot of movement in the bass.

The trick is to try and sound like you're tearing the strings off of the bass!

hmm I think you are right, after listening to it again bearing that in mind it is just one note. I was trying to listen for what the changes where. It is interesting how the rest of the instruments give that impression. Thanks.

Think i'll be able to work it out fine now, it's easy when you know how.
