Marvin
We're trying this one out at rehearsal. However, myself and the guitarist seem to be playing different things. Anyone got the chords for this one? Please Thanks.

essexbasscat
Do you have the keys doing the stabs ? (or is that you stabbing the guitarist ?)
Marvin
Do you have the keys doing the stabs ? (or is that you stabbing the guitarist ?)
No keys, just me and the guitarist I downloaded a piano transcript, here (proper notation, no tab , topical) and basically took the bass part of the keys to play. The guitarist has worked it out by ear. However, there are parts, specifically the end of the verses and the bridge in particular where we 'part company'. The line I use works against the original recording, but the guitarist swears blind that he's playing the right thing. I did email him my copy of the transcript that has the guitar chords on it but he seems to have put them to one side in preference to the ones he worked out by ear Just wondered how others 'attacked' it. really. I may just have to pop around his place and we work on it together.
