Roland Rock
I've been obsessing over this Gil Yaron P Bass I really like his ethos and he seems to be passionate about getting things period-correct. His build threads are fantastic. I'd love one like that sonic blue early 60s one, but preferably with a maple board - anyone know if this a 'period correct' configuration? What little feedback I can find seems positive too. Anyone know anything about these? btw - This is in the 'fantasy' category at the moment - I don't know how much these are, but I do know I can't afford one yet Edited April 22, 2011 by Roland Rock

BassBod
They do look very good, don't they? I read somewhere they also cost a fair bit..which was good news. A good choice for a fantasy bass (mine would be a stack knob Jazz..2 tone sunburst. Yum. I can almost smell the sawdust and thinners). Happy Jack
It was the bit about making his own oil & paper capacitors that really got me ... that's an attention to detail that verges on the obsessive (but in a good way ). Out of sheer idle curiosity I did email him last summer to ask how much he would charge for a Precision, but he never replied.
