Use an F type fuse and it'll blow before the unit has completely powered up and using a value other than 4A will either cause it to blow straight away or render the unit unsafe. That fuse is the first line of defence between you and a trip to hospital... Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 What sort of other fuse have you got? They are smaller than normal plugtop fuses you know. The problem with the old "it's only a fuse that's blown" theory is knowing why it blew? Quote

Another service should hopefully reveal the problem. It was our 3rd gig in 24 hours with them so I can't decide if it happened when I turned it on at that gig or when I turned it off at the 2nd!
