How does that bridge Pup work out being so close to the bridge ???
It works just fine, and it's a DiMarzio, so it's loud anyway, the bridge pick up can be turned off by the push pull volume pot :)

Loving the collection, Foxen! Superb as always, Lorne.

A few of these have gone now, but it's more the spirit:

Platinum BC Rich ST

1976 Gibson G3 Grabber

Charvel 575

Jackson Kelly Explorer - regret this one, would have back!

My other ST - BC Rich ST 1987 NJ

Oh, and a Gold Ironbird

This is quite pointy. Lots of fun but I'm thinking it could do with a black 'plate, to complete the stealth look.

Anyone know where such an item could be found?

i love daft shapes!
Vester Argus in rare natural finish (the only one i have ever seen)
its not lightweight like the black ones and its a bit neck heavy but i love it.

Well, uncovered these pics recently - liked this Kramer Ferrington- bit bonkers heavy metal acoustic bass? It was a lovely cherry red colour with binding- don't have it now but know who does- a folkie!!

There was a company called Needle that took up the smallest stand at the BMF show years ago that had the most ridiculous pointy shapes I have ever seen. I don't think they were around for long and I can't find any of their instruments on the interweb. Their prices were ambitious to say the least. Their cheapest instrument was £6500!!

Has anyone heard of them or remember coming across them at the show (I think it was the 2004 show)? (I am determined to find a pic of one of their basses!)
