A word on the seller - I bought my tele custom from him (John) and found him to be very helpful and generally a top bloke to talk to. I look through his stuff now and again to see if he's got anything I would be interested in as his used prices seem to be pretty good - you could also loook at his other stuff - www.mcguitars.co.uk Quote

Tee Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Well, it's the vintage 'premium' version, ie alder and US pickups, not the cheaper basswood and Japanese pickups version. So you have to ask yourself, do i like it and can i afford it? Quote

[/quote] The simple answer is yes and yes.......however, going with a p-bass is something of an unknown for me (currently have a jazz bass) so don't want to spend £400 buying from a shop to find it's only worth £350 on the used market. A very similar bass for £50 more (Jap 93/94 pbass) If you've never played a P before, i would suggest trying one out first though. Ta[/quote] I think that's a fair price. If you're after a good value Precision you won't beat the CIJ re-issues. I've got one of the 70s re-issues and love it to bits. Quote
