2 Big One's.

^I thought of that, the appeal of two compacts, or even one due to the efficiency (but that doesnt looks so cool), is that I dont drive and they are nice and small so I can chuck them in a mates car or a taxi easily. If I get a well paid placement for the summer think I will be investing.

OK, I'll have a Big One please!!

Seriously, I'd love one. I'll PM you my address.

Things are looking good. Do you need any help with the website?

Cool! (NB: Not to be used on non-Barefaced cabs, unless you want to put it on a Meyer Sound one or something like that. Placement on Behringer or Bose is punishable by death!)

Had a few basschatters offer to help (some of whom I now realise I haven't yet responded to - sorry!) but as it stands I'm not even sure what I want the website to cover or look like. I think I'll let it evolve over the next year or so and then replace it with something smarter, at which point I shall come back to all you web gurus!

If you've ever used www.pipl.com to search your name, you might be surprised to find what's out there. I go by my second name as did my father and as does my paternal grandfather, so on searching for my first name and surname I was surprised to find this:

relating to my Dad, and this:

It's all go here at Barefaced! Working on the new website and also getting the various 12" models sorted - expect the Midget, Double Midget (2x12" almost exactly the same size as the Compact) and Big Baby to be appearing shortly. And there's a brief news item about us in the latest issue of Bass Guitar Magazine.

Also in the melting pot are various PA speaker designs and some unique hi-fi speakers.

I don't know, it's only just out in the USA. The weird thing is the first I knew anything about it was when it got mentioned on talkbass!

Nice one! Congrats! You are going global. Nice to see that the mag has it's nose to the ground! Have you got a link to talkbass mention?

Is that just a regular old handle on the top there? Deos that mean there are three handles on Big Ones?

Also, is it possible to have, say, swappable grills with a vintage one and a normal one? That would be pretty cool.

Looks good doesn't it? The port looks massive! :)

Yes, three handles. One strap for tilt and roll, two straps to pick it up in theory but in practice I just tend to grab whichever are most convenient.

Sadly not, they're built slightly differently. And the corners differ as well.

Very nice. How wide is it? I'm trying to visualise my Burman Pro 4000 sitting on top of one.

It's 520mm or 20.5" plus the thickness of the finish and the corners, so about 525mm all told.

Couple of shots here with a 19" rack on a Big One: http://www.barefacedbass.com/thebigone.html

You should put a grill across to stop small children crawling inside - but I suppose you could always pop them out with a few low F[sup]#[/sup]'s if they got stuck
