chuckles Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) I have an old shaftesbury valve amp from the early sixties that I don't much use. It's in ok condition and has a lovely sounding tremolo on one channel. Comes with a cheap and chatty footswitch to turn the trem on/off. It used to have two elliptical speakers back in the day but when I got it one was knackered and the other sounded pants. Now its got a single 8" speaker which sounds better. There's some more info about this model here: http://www.vintagehofner.co.uk/britamps/restof/shaft1.html £75. Postage will be somewhere between £15 and £20, I'd think. Any questions feel free to ask away! Thanks for looking. Edited July 15, 2011 by chuckles
KiOgon Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Retrotastic Good luck with the sale, I'm sure it'll be gone in a flash!
chuckles Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 Thanks for all the PMs folks. I am looking to have it picked up rather than couriered as my work hours preclude being in for a courier to collect it til the end of May, so local chaps take precedence, I'm afraid.
skankdelvar Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 O my! That's lovely. I'd have it in a flash but I'm far from local Good luck with your sale and congrats to whoever gets it.
chuckles Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 Hallo, There's no local sale been made so if anyone else wants it, I'll cardboard it up and courier it. This may cost £20 or so but the original £80 price still stands. Let me know if any of you chaps/chapesses want it. Stephen
