goblin
Before: and after: Much better I reckon, and took no longer than an hour (a lot of that was getting rid of the sodding Trace sticker )
Lozz196
Agree, I recently did the same with my Eden Nemesis cab. Had a grey/silver tweeter in it, which I thought looked wrong, so painted it black, and got rid of the Eden sticker - which took ages. Think it looks much better now. Is that a Gordon Smith guitar in the background?
tonyf
+1 Looks great. I had a Warwick 6x10 for a while and did the same. Bish bash bosh, bit of hammerite on the grill and it looked 100000 times better. Bye bye big f'ugly W.

A Gypsy maybe, or a GS-2 with an added scratchplate. I owned a fantastic '86 GS-1 (same colour as the one in the picture) and a 2001 Graduate 60 (flame top Les Paul type)... I still regret selling that GS-1. Great guitars!
goblin
First thought when I got the cab "right, W is going" but never really got round to it. Glad I did it though, looks miles better. Only cost me a fiver for the spray paint Indeed it is a Gordon Smith, it's my dad's GS2. He's got a Gypsy II semi solid too Edited April 27, 2011 by goblin

I doubt it had a W both sides

I got a 2nd hand GS1 earlier this year (same colour as one in pic), best guitar I`ve ever had - and I`ve had Fenders, Gibsons, Washburns, Yamahas, but this little guy beats them all. Ooops - bass-forum, best stop now!

Musky
A mate of mine did the opposite with one of his cabs - he painted the Armani logo on it. He thought it was obvious he was being ironic, but he did overhear someone at a gig saying "that flash b**tard's got an Armani cab". (Oh, and +1 on the Gordon Smith. Funny how many of us were looking at that more than the cabs. )
goblin
I'm surprised no one's noticed the Fylde Mandola next to it, much fancier instrument if you ask me

goblin
I thought about stealthing, but I like the luminous green - one of the only things that gives away what it is As for those gasing over the Gordon Smith, my dad would sell it for the right money. If anyone's interested drop me a PM
