xgsjx Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Well My band BigRoom are doing a gig this weekend despite never having played together for a year & this time it's slightly different. We have a drummer! It's gonna kick off with my singer doing some solo stuff from the BigRoom catalogue, then me & him doing some more stuff, Toyz & then Back on as BigRoom with drums. Toyz is an experimental band that have never played anywhere (not even a rehearsal) & is made up of our drummer either playing a lekky kit or on keys, our singer on synth guitar & myself messing about with whatever instruments I can get my grubby hands on (including some good use of the moog pedals )! I'm really looking forward to this one as any time BigRoom or Frigorifico (where the drummer is from) have done a bit of improvising type stuff, it's made some brilliant songs. Some of which still get played. So here's some other details...
