deepbass5
Love my 5 string Steamer stage 1 But not happy with the control layout or the stacked Volume /blend and find the mid a bit wishy-washy John East said the Warwick shafts are larger Diameter than his. Has anyone retro fitted any different arrangement or managed to re-arrange the knobs and still fit the cavity. I fancy a change, so any pioneers who have tackled the Streamer control layout Please let me know what you managed to do. Changing the preamp isn't the issue it's fitting a JE unit that is the problem and I'd say that if it is due to the shafts being too long the only way round it is to do some internal routing/countersinking. However, that may well weaken the area around the pot and not recommended!
