thumbo
2 hours ago I had a banging head ache, the only thing that appealed to me was sitting in a darkened room and playing some bass. So I picked my Fender P, got a nice dub sound going on, stuck some dub tracks in a playlist and noodled along. Now I'm head ache free! win! Does anyone else indulge in self prescribed bass therapy? If I'm ever feeling stressed out picking up a bass will have an instant calming effect on me. Edited April 29, 2011 by thumbo

grayn
A few years ago, when I played in an acoustic trio, quite often, after work, I'd feel over tired or occasionally have a headache. I used to think, Oh no, I have a rehearsal tonight. But every time, after the music, I'd feel 100% better. So yes, it works
