Clarky
I got this a couple of weeks back from Nigel/silddx, who had it installed from new on his lovely CAR Jazz bass he is selling. Being the mind-changing berk that I am, I have decided to keep my Jazz all passive after all and so I do not need this. I hadn't got around to installing it and so its still all boxed up. Would like to pass on for what I paid, which is £165 posted. BassDirect (see below) does these for £205 plus £5 post, so its a £45 saving on new. BTW, its in vgc http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...ps_J_Retro.html Edited May 20, 2011 by Clarky
Ghost_Bass
Is this the deluxe? Your link shows Bass Direct selling them at £195 plus £5 post to UK! I would love one for my '77 modded VM but it's a bit pricey for me ATM... Good luck with the sale!

I placed a simple question with no pun intended... I just thought that they could have lowered their prices and the "£205 Black" was referring to black hardware (plate and knobs). I have seen a number of FS threads de-railed recently by people publicly criticising prices (even though the T&C's say to do so only via PM) and was being a bit too sensitive ANyways, bump for an immaculate condition J-Reto at close to 25% off new price Edited April 30, 2011 by Clarky

xilddx
Clarky, if it helps, here's the thread I started with before and after sound clips of my Jazz with and without your J-Retro. Also, this unit is virtually mint, it has no solder joints, nothing. Will sell for £150 posted. It's in pristine condition
