I use them on my sixes to cut down on sympathetic vibration.

Ah thanks for that link. I'd seen these in some magazine and forgot what they were called. Not sure how they compare to a simple scrunchy though :)

And yes, have used a scrunchy on my 8 string to stop sympathetic vibrations as well.

Yeah, been using scrunchies for years - great for in the studio and for killing strings when doing all that tappy stuff!

Yeah,I've seen them. They look pretty wide though-I wonder how easy they are to slip over the nut and
out of the way?
I'll probably get a pack if I ever see them anywhere-but I wouldn't go out of my way to order any.

Nope....don't use them and have no need for them.... thankfully.

Just can't go with the idea, personally

Occasionally but I utilise open notes a lot so yeah...
I use an old wristband I found under the sofa currently, does the same job.

Then when he has a gig in Norway , and the airline have lost them , he has to do the gig with a Marcus Miller scrunchie :)
