Adi
Bassix Newtech For Sale £650. A superbly sounding EUB. Bought from Alan at Bassix and made by his own fair hand. A mixture of Carbon Fibre and Fibreglass. Piezo ceramics. Great sounding straight into my Genz Benz. Even better through a Marbass. Lowish action. Mixture of strings, Patricks and Spiro Weichs. Comes with a Steinberger bag and a stand both bought seperately. Total when new around £1100. Adi Edited May 11, 2011 by Adi
oldslapper
Oh my! I do admire Alan's work. My birthday next week, I wonder if I'll be PM'ing you on Tuesday morning! John
GarethFlatlands
I'd be tempted to hang my jacket on while I was playing. Looks like a very nice instrument, an EUB is on my list of things to buy when I have the cash.
whynot
I have one of these, less the tripod. Blows the NS away if your looking for a more upright tone from an EUB and you want the neck to feel like an upright.

Adi
PM returned Old slapper. And thanks for the comment whynot. I agree about the tone. According to Alan it is down to his treament of materials that transmits the sound better than wood. He's a genuine boffin. He's just down the trainline from me near Whitstable.
