karlfer Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hope you can help folks. Please see attached photo's. This is something I'm looking to buy, as I am finding maple boards easier to play nowadays. The bullet truss rod seems to be too recessed into the neck. This gives rise to other concerns about the neck, twisted etc. Any ideas? Any questions I must ask the seller? hillbilly deluxe Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) From the photos,the neck doesnt look twisted.I would imagine that the truss rod nut should be further out than that,so would tend to think that the truss rod doesnt have much adjustment left.Heres a link to one that was sold on here,with a pic of the truss rod nut.
