Mr Bassman Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Tom, I'm interested in this where are you? I'm in North Yorkshire (someone has to be ) Keith
BassBod Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Any chance of some pics? I'd like to see how this version has evolved.....
Blademan_98 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011
Aylesbury
A fellow Aylesbury Bassist Do you ever play down the Green Man? Have an Aylesbury massive bump on me
Bassist Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 No I have never played at the Green Man I don't play in any local bands! I will try and post some photos soon if anyone might be interested.
Bassist Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 I would consider a trade for a good 5 string bass guitar, or might consider any offer too.
Bassist Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 I have posted some photo's. Bass comes with all the extra's. Realist pickup fitted, extended finger board, some spare parts, etc. The heel attached to the neck also has a small hole underneath it so the bass can be played or left on a stand ( A drum cymbal stand would be good). Any questions please ask.
BassBod Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Two questions - How long does it take to re-assemble and re-string? How well do the strings cope with that? What do you think of the metal body supports? ( they look a bit thin??) Sorry, that was three.....
Bassist Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 It takes between 5 - 7 mins to assemble when you know what you are doing! It is easy. The strings are fine, you just tune it up, then retune it a few minutes later and it is stable. The metal body supports are fairly sturdy and stable, at just under 5mm they are probably thicker than they look in the photo's.
