FS Yamaha BB1100s

Hi

I have a Yamaha BB1100s approx 1980's active & passive 4 string bass for sale £275. Good condition for its age, a few scratches and chips to the finish. It was setup about 7months ago with new strings and hasn't been played much so it doesn't need any work. Frets are in good condition. Comes with Yamaha hard case.

Great basses these, had one myself in the late 80s, good sound, and a real workhorse, gigged it without backup for abt 4 yrs, never a problem.

That looks like my old one! Where did you get it? I swapped it with someone at Fleet Services for a 5 string Jazz Bass. Wish i'd never done it now.

holy f*** and wow! The only reason i can't take that back is financial. On every other score i would have it in a flash. Someone is going to get a fantastic bass for an amazing price.

btw i didn't get on with 5 stringers so sold the Jazz bass. did some recording with it in a half-decent studio and it sounded good but not as good as that Yammy. good luck with the sale.
