BassBod Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 The sound is probably a combination of the (Kent Armstrong designed?) pickups, wiring choices (parallel humbuckers) and the preamp. On a quick look..that looks like an expensive box for what it does (preamp and headphone amp) and there are many other options for less money.
