How Can You Tell if Fender USA Jazz Pups are Genuine ?

I've got the chance of picking up a bass which has supposedly USA pickups and pots installed and I'd like to know how I'd tell if they genuinely were Fender USA pups. Is there any markings or characteristics that I could check to determine ?
