lemmywinks
Having a bit of a clearout so this is for sale. Kinda wanted to hang on to it as it's very useful but i need the space and would like to liberate some spending money. It's a few years old and has served me well. It's one of the A series Kickback style combos - a loud, punchy little amp with a handy MP3 input for practice. Official spiel here: http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...1&brandID=3 They're still around the £250 mark to buy new, that's what i originally paid a few years ago, but i'm selling this one off cheap as it has a couple of issues: The first is that on some notes at higher volumes there's noticeable distortion, mostly around the G, G# and A notes. I dunno if this is the driver or the cabinet itself causing this but it's definitely not the amp as i've tried it with a seperate cab. It still gets pretty loud before this happens so in it's current state it's a handy little combo. The second point is that it's got a few cosmetic issues. The tops of 2 knobs have come off (knobs and pots still totally fine, just don't have the silver plastic caps on). Also one of the EQ slider tabs has snapped off, again the slider still works, you just have to use a fingernail (or a plectrum, if that's how you choose to live your life ). The carpet is also a little scruffy in places, could be neatened up with a little trimming i think! All i want is £60, collected from the Blackpool area is massively preferable to using a courier which i'd rather not do. Any questions feel free to ask, also if you wanna come down and open it up to check the driver/amp,cab structure out then that's cool. Ta!
