xilddx Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011
John Myung or Dave Ellefson no competition at all Thanks for the BILF thread though
An hour with John Myung would be like a year in a Trappist monastery. Quote

TheRev Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011
Probably Laurence O'Keefe who played bass in Darkstar. Probably one of my fave all time bands, and in my opinion seriously under-rated... I would ask him for a copy of the unreleased second album! Saw them live loads, loved the new stuff, then they split up
I saw Laurence and drummer David Francolini having a pint in a bar in Bristol around the time Darkstar split up. I was a bit pissed but as a big Darkstar fan, I had to go say hello and gush for five minutes. The subject of the second album was not a popular one.... Even now, David Francolini apparently gets narky if people go on about it. A mate of a mate plays with David Francolini in Dragons and every time I see him, I ask if he can get one of the rough mixes off Dave -everytime he says it's 'too soon' to ask. Quote
Chris2112 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Probably Stuart Hamm, I'd just throw him my Kubicki and sit and watch him play it for an hour. That would be awesome! Quote

GarethFlatlands Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Caleb Schofield or John Paul Jones for playing tips. Others for BILF reasons. Quote

AttitudeCastle Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Anyone mentioned Suzi Horn yet? Though i'd love to have a lesson with Billy Sheehan or Alex Webster or John Myung! Quote
