CMI Rickenbacker 4001 copy. SOLD

Here we have a smashing mid-70s Japanese Rickenbacker 4001 copy, a true lawsuit copy if ever there was one. It really is an almost exact copy of the real thing, and even has neck-through construction - a lot of the copies from this era were bolt-on. In fact, the only detail that lets it down a bit are the generic no-name tuners (that otherwise function fine).
The construction and electronics on this bass are all sound - the chap I bought it from had the electronics and wiring given a professional once-over before it reached me.
Having owned a genuine 4001 I would go as far as saying this one is easier to play, and it nails the sound too.
For a bass of this vintage it is in excellent condition - there are some nicks and dings around the bottom edge of the body, and a few very light lacquer chips - but nothing to affect playability.

Any questions feel free to ask.

I am after £350 inc. postage.
