custom made metal control plate...

I have a metal control plate, which is shaped like the bottom part of a P-bass pickguard, with 4 holes.

I have a preamp to fit in it.

Unfortunately, the pots will not go into the existing holes, I would need to rearrange them (pots mounted on preamp PCB, can't be altered).

So I am considering having a copy of the existing plate made, and then drill the new holes into it to fit th preamp.

Does anybody know where I could have that done?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind... but for now I've had a change of heart and will go with the plate I already have and the correct preamp... getting too complicated for what was a simple "strip the body of the bass and reasemble" story

Yep, cheers. Thinking of doing something like this, but haven't sold enough of the Rick plates to pay for it yet. I was going to copy the plate I have on this bass:

Nice bass, and interestingly that plate is pretty much the same shape I wanted
