Got my eye on one but the guy has no way of weighing it , anyone any ideas? my 86 roadstar 2 is pretty light but i spose thats a different beast alltogether!

By ' a good 10lbs' I meant 'at least'

Just weighed my 1981 Roadster - it's 9lbs so they obviously vary. It's always felt much lighter than my 1979 Musician which is 10.5 lbs. Never weighed them until today though.

The chap thats selling it thinks its about 7kgs , so may have to give it a miss with my back problems, shame as its a nice bass!

i did think that was crazy heavy ! he doesnt have scales in the house so cant weigh it properly for me . and it ends tonight on the bay!

already got one myself mate, its now become a new obsetion of mine ,weighing bass`s ! :) its just the other end that had none .
