Nice to see people branching out into odd time sigs, you don't really get a lot of 7/8 outside of prog, probably my favourite time signature.

I really like it.

There's something nice about odd times or more complex time, when it's not driven by ego.. I think the keys is to try and let it breathe.. I was digging around and was reminded of Greenhouse by the Yellow Jackets

It depends how you feel when I'm on bass I feel it more like 7/4 but when I'm on drum I feel as 14/8

These guys seem to make odd times feel like just 4/4

Thankyou! (although its actually my fender jazz on recording) the whole thing is actually about 8 mins long - very hard to keep up groove, intensity, and accuracy with this this type of music (well for me anyway!)[/quote]
