I am not excane
Just wanted to get a poll on which finish of these Modulus basses your prefer. They are identical except for finish. I'm just looking for you initial, gut reaction. I find both basses equally amazing, and I'm deciding if I should trade one for the other. (I'm not saying which one I own yet) Thanks Edited May 12, 2011 by I am not excane
Ou7shined
Of those it's Blue/Green for me.
neepheid
Is it ok to dislike them both equally?
Of course - Different strokes for different folks. BUT if you HAD to pick one....which do you prefer?
Adrenochrome
The red is more striking, the blue-green is subtle. I voted red cos it'll look ace onstage from a few yards away.
bubinga5
i think there both gorgeous.. could i have both? the Cherry Modulus is a little rarer.... ok its red... Edited May 12, 2011 by bubinga5
Truckstop
I reckon the blue/green'll look stunning close up. Really stunning. Truckstop
BigRedX
The red one.
Fat Rich
Voted red, but they both look fantastic!
tony_m
Not normally a fan of red, but that red is stunning, so in this instance red it is!
longtimefred
red for me, im not really a fan of quilted tops but i do like the red! lot more classier IMO
thisnameistaken
I don't like quilted maple (or any glossy figured maple) and I think they look worse when stained like that. Sorry but I would pick either and then sand it til the maple went away.
RhysP
I'd go for the blue/green one but they've both lovely.
deepbass5
all green or all blue, would get my vote but not both so Red on this occasion
SignsOfDelirium_bassist
The red one draws the eye more I think, plus it shows off the maple more! Definitely the red!
Jean-Luc Pickguard
Red. It reminds me a lot of the £200 Peavey I used to own which was very similar, but purple rather than red. The blue one reminds me of looking into a toilet bowl when one of those blu things is in the cistern. Perhaps EBMM should produce some bongos in that finish

ZMech
I'm normally biased towards anyway (both of my basses are red), but that one is particularly badass.
joe_bass
I'd normally go with blue over red, but damn that red looks good!!
purpleblob
Well I really like the blue/green, but I have a slightly deeper red 6 string modulus that looks stunning, so it's red for me.
