thebassman Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Red gets my vote, reminds me of the Wasburn I owned for years. Quote
MrRatty Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Sounds silly but I think it depends what you play: red looks more aggressive while the blue green is more laid back. So red if you play loud and hard but blue/green if you're a bit more subtle. Alternatively, from a purely "which is best looking" point of view, I'd say red. <waffle off> Quote
Schnozzalee Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Don't split em up!! They're both perfect but I went with the one that reminded me of da Sea!! Quote
Hamster Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I'd normally go for a blue - but the red looks a whole lot better there. Quote
gub Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 i like the blue ,looks like a ocean floor ,be good at a party after a few i think ,but voted red as it will stand out more on stage ! Quote
Green Alsatian Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Red - the flame looks nicer plus I think black hardware looks better with red, always thought chrome hardware looked better on a blue bass. Quote
+ 1 Although if I HAD to pick one on pain of death it would have to be the blue one. IMHO they're both dreadful but the red one is waaaaaay worse. Again, MHO. Each to their own etc! Quote

Just wondering what makes them dreadful to you? Quote
detox Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 It's like glam rock vs prog metal haha. Gotta go with the red! Quote
lucky Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 has to be red- colours like that can look so rich in different light Quote
Evil Undead Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 The blue/green one looks like ripples on an ocean Stunning Quote

JTUK Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Niether do it for me colour-wise, but you might want to consider the effect from a distance. If you are getting this worked up about colour schemes..and I am not saying there is anything against that....consider what you will backdrop it with... The green/blue will struggle against more colours IMO. Quote

Then play the one that matches your T-Shirt.
I was waiting for someone to tell me this.... thank you. I think I'll keep the one I own already and just buy the other one to go with it. Oh - The RED is the bass I currently own. Quote
Machines Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I love the contrasting shades in the red, i'd go for that. Quote
lee650 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Keep your red its amazing, i think it shows off the quilt a little better, mind you ive never seen the point of owning two identical basses just because they are diffrent colours, but hey thats just me, enjoy them both!!!! Quote
