Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 Wipe down after each gig/rehearsal to remove sweat/blood/snot etc Change Strings, Change batteries if active, Set the neck relief with the truss rod, set bridge saddle height & intonation -set neck angle with shim if neccessary, Lem-oil fingerboard, check & adjust slots in nut. If you mean you're wanting to use it and it's not been played for a while then, if it's a rosewood neck, consider giving it an oil. A new set of strings might not go amiss as well.
