Romania

My better half is going to a conference in Cluj in Romania next month and we decided to go for a wee family trip, turns out Cluj is very close to Reghin where there are two major double bass factories Hora and Vasile Gliga as well as numerous other Luthiers. I'm going to take a trip out and have a wee nosy round Reghin, I think another DB is out of the question but might be able to pick ups some bits and would be interesting to see prices.

Anyone been there?

I haven't been there but I used to own a Gliga Gama violin and the build quality is very high, remarkably so for the price... I have toyed with the idea of a Gliga DB but as I've never seen one have held off so far.
