VT Bass vs Bass Driver, Sansamp Classic, and Blonde

Made a little video of the BDDI and the VT :



Not sure if the video entirely does justice to either pedal - sounds ok when I listen through speakers, awful through headphones.

Also one of the VT Bass and the original sansamp:



there's another one of the [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVdmxA59qYs"]VT and the blonde[/url] but that one turned out a bit quiet. I am still trying to work out how best to record for youtube!

Thanks for that, I've been looking at both the VT and the BDDI recently. I've swooped on a BDDI for the moment but may well have to get both before I decide which one to keep.

Thanks, hope it was useful! I actually swooped on six Sansamps to compare for use on bass and occasional guitar: BDDi, PDDI, Original, GT2, Blonde, VT.

Keeping the BDDI cos it's good at beefing up the sound of a shonky bass (OK, if I spent less on pedals I could afford a better bass, but hey...) - PDDI cos it's good on bass and Guitar, and original as my dad reckons it makes him sound like Santana

Having said I'd relinquished my VT Bass, I've now thrown the big bucks at the VT Deluxe! The blonde has gone though... for now.

Personally I feel the vt is too wooly and mushed in the low end, hardly any definition compared to the BDDI or even the classic.

I have the VT Bass V2 incoming...I'm definitely looking forward to it after all the recommendations!
