270degrees
Hi, guys. I bought this a while back with a view to powering my home hi-fi system. The amp sounded fantastic. Unfortunately, it's fan-cooled which wasn't a problem when my PC was on, as the PC fan is louder than that of the amp, but at low volumes, with my PC off, it's intrusive. Given that most of my listening is of the late-night variety, it's not suitable for me. (You'll notice I used past-tense in that sentence...) I tried to remedy the situation by installing a quiet fan but must have done something wrong as the amp now doesn't work. I got onto Turbosound who said that the heatsink may be damaged. Then, as now, I didn't have time to look into it and it's just taking up space. I'll get pictures up soon. Stompbox
Hi there - did you buy the amp new & could you put any pics on? Just after a bit more info. When you power the amp up is it totally dead or do any LED's come on - if so which ones - does the new fan run? Is there no sound on either channel? Cheers, Stompbox
