For some reason I thought that colour was called Prussian Blue (it isn't) so I looked up that phrase on Google images ... and got this.

But mix that in with champagne yellow and cocaine white, surely the bass's colour is close enough?

That one sort of makes sense because it's the colour of Angel Islington on the UK Monopoly board.

Not quite the same thing, but the thread title put me in mind of Howard the Bass Doc's story of a (presumably non-bass-playing) visitor to his old shop. Admiring a sunburst bass hanging on the wall, said visitor proclaimed, "I love the way the colour just... f***s off."
