CraigPlaysBass
For sale is an 'Alesis Multimix 8 USB' 8 channel mixing desk with computer output and 100 built in effects! Features: - 4 Mic/line inputs - 4 Line inputs - 100 Built in effects - Phantom Power on all 4 mic inputs - USB output for recording, unit is plug and play, no additional software is required! - 2 Aux channels - Tape input and output - 3 Band EQ per channel - Separate Main/Monitor/Headphone outs. Website here: Alesis The unit comes in original box with power supply and usb cable. Note: There is an intermittent fault with the mic input on channel one. Sometimes the gain appears to be extremely low. I have not attempted to fix this as I have upgraded to a new interface. The line input on this channel still works perfectly however! Item is in mint condition aside from that, no crackly knobs and the like. Price is £75, not bad when they still sell for £120 new. Please PM me with offers/questions/exciting recipes etc... cheddatom
What does it send over USB - a stereo mix, or each individual input?
CraigPlaysBass
It sends the stereo mix Fine for recording band rehearsals, bass covers etc. I've upgraded to a motu 828 to give me that multitrack functionality. Not going to pick one up for £75 however! It's also very handy at band rehearsals, small format mixer, straight into the pa, and recording into the computer. CraigPlaysBass
Hi, you are correct, it uses usb 1.1. Though I've never had any trouble with latency when using up to date drivers! No, I'm afraid Cubase isn't included with it, however it works perfectly with free programs like audacity and garageband.
