tayste_2000
Bought this ages ago because I loved how with a shortscale hollowbody with flats it added to the boxy sound. It's nothing special, looks quite vintage, sounds boxy and small, but it is boxy and small. Weighs very little. The interesting thing is this amp has a very nice trem circuit that could probably be removed and run in a pedal. I believe it's made in the UK probably sometime in the 80's by a company called JHS. Only after £30 collected, can post but would rather not. Makes a great little practice amp or something quirky for studio use and like I say you may wish to take it apart and house the trem in a pedal. FYI my home practice rig now is a 1957 15w All Tube Dynacord amp with a custom Matamp 4x6 just incase you wondered why this was going
pete.young
JHS is probably short for John Hornby Skewes - I expect they imported it from somewhere and badged it with their own label.
tayste_2000
Sounds familiar, so maybe not made in England. Who knows tis cheap take a punt only getting rid as it's in the way and never used so can easily go in the bottom of a cupboard.
