Delberthot Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 (edited) My Revelation Fretless. Absolutely love the sound of this. Sounds incredible but it just doesn't suit my style of playing Edited February 25, 2022 by Delberthot 1 Quote
Linus27 Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 (edited) My three fretless beauties. Top: Fender Precision 70's ressiue with American Vintage Pickups and custom Shuker maple neck finished in high gloss. Sounds fantastic and is beautiful to play. Middle: ESP 400 Series Jazz with Bartolini pickups and custom Shuker ebony neck. Made in Japan in the mid 80's at the Fender factory and is basically a Japanese 60's Reissue Fender Jazz. Bottom: Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray with Pau Ferro neck. Edited February 26, 2022 by Linus27 3 Quote
BassAgent Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 (edited) Pretty satisfied with these two gems. Both heavily modded and they sound as incredible as they look. Love these two basses. I've owned quite a few way more expensive fretlesses but especially the Jazz beats them all. Edited February 26, 2022 by BassAgent 4 Quote

thewebow Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 ‘98 and ‘96 fender USA p bass w flats & j bass. Anyone got any advice on replacing a nut. The j bass is eating away on the g string behind the nut. Quote

Two very nice basses - I particularly like the P - lovely aesthetic Quote

I mean it plays wonderfully so not like I want to change it up too much.. I wonder do I leave it as is and accept that the damage is done? Quote

BlueMoon Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 It's actually not that uncommon to see some scuffing behind the nut on a fretless.............but that does look quite deep. I guess it really depends on how well it plays through the changing seasons. Could get tricky. Quote
Passinwind Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 New LeCompte Triple Threat single coil pickups in my Crescent Moon bass (front left), and two new cabs to boot. Marco Bass MV4 on right. 2 Quote

If it eats you, take the string tree off, and put a thick washer under it to raise it slightly. Quote

TheGreek Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I've had a few fretless basses over the years haven't really got on with any of them, till I got this Yamaha TRB 5IIF. Gorgeous tones, lovely neck and so, so playable. Get one!! 5 Quote
