goblin
Can you still get them by any chance? Looking at the possibility of racking up, but can't find rack ears anywhere. British Audio Service used to sell them, but they don't now

goblin
If the original question was unsuccessful that would've been my next question I'm fed up of fiddling around with covers, so I fancy the idea of racking the head in a 4u rack case, then have a strip light of some sort on one of the slots in the case, and then either a vent panel or a draw where I can keep stuff like the speaker leads, spare strings, small tool kit and batteries. Then on the back I'd have one of them rack mount power stations (rack mount glorified extention lead?) so I can power the light and amp from one switch, and have spare power for other things if I need it

You could also get one of these...
I can't find it on the site, but they used to make a 12U rackmounted beer fridge as well. I included one in the design parameters of a 125 rack datacentre to see if anyone noticed... goblin
Stop giving me ideas. More ideas than money going on here I've found a flaw with having the draw in the back saving space too. Because if I put it in the back, it means I can downsize the case to 3 unit, but if I've already got a 2unit powerblock in the back and then put a draw in the back too...I won't be able to get my hand in to plug in speaker cables / turn the head on etc The wine rack is highly tempting though! The heat from the amp will keep some good bottles of red at the right temperature, and it's well known that a lot of bassists tend to drink red wine
icastle
...and if you're the sort of muso who fancies a snack hafway through a drum solo, they also did a rack mounted microwave oven as well...
goblin
I have gone to the bar during a drum solo once, got a drink and packet of crisps, and had finished the crisps and was half way through the drink by the time he'd finished
dc2009
I'm not currently using mine, though am planning to in future. If you want I could photograph/measure them - or even do you a technical drawing, for you to fashion your own? They're very simplistic so wouldn't be difficult. I personally think these were fashioned out of oversized door hinges.
goblin
When I saw you weren't using yours I thought you were going to offer them me for a split moment But yeah as for pics / drawings / measurements, that would be brilliant thanks
