SOLD - 3/4 Romanian Double Bass

Hey Guys

I'm putting this up on behalf of my Great Aunty and Uncle, as they're not very 'internet-savvy'.

What we have here is 3/4 size DB, made in Reghin, Romania. My Uncle told me it was made between 1940 & 1950 (if I remember rightly). It was mainly used as a bluegrass instrument by my auntie.

Branding I am very unsure on, as I have looked and cannot find much information on it :/. I'll let the pictures do the talking to be fair.

I don't know if someone could help me out with some more information about it? My uncle stated he wanted [b]£650[/b] for the bass with softcase, bow and spare strings. Local pickup only due to the size

Well....she did! I'm really surprised how she managed to play....the things twice the size of her! lol

where is this Double Bass located?

I'm in a village just outside Bridlington on the East Coast, between Scarborough and Hull. People are welcome to come have a look and play

Quick mention, the bridge was a replacement one, its a Glaesel (a french company I believe). I'll confirm this later, but I think it was fitted by the chaps at Peterborough Music.
