ezbass
Blinding little amp. I bought one a few months back (or rather swapped for some other kit I wasn't using) and I'm well pleased, I use it for home practice, band rehearsal (it just about cuts it with a reasonable volume tub thumper, guitarist, etc) and recording, does it all well. Reproduction of other instruments from this amps is amazing, my electro acoustic sounds great and my solid body guitar doesn't sound terrible either (add pedals to taste I reckon); I reckon it'd be the bee's knees with an upright. Good price there, have a bump on me.
fretmeister
I've never tried a Phil Jones amp of any description. But I was listening to Kyle Eastwood who uses the Suitcase I think and was really impressed, especially on the low B. Really lovely tone.
