voxpop Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I have ordered a Shuker fretless 6 string P bass from Jon a few weeks ago and wanted something to keep me going for the next 6 months while it is being built. I came across this little beauty in the for sale section.......Its dated 1998, one of Jon's first creations. I will keep it fretless while my P bass is being built and then its back to Jon for a 'tarting up' and MAYBE frets???????? Going to have frets put back on it and upgrade the picks to 45J ( single coil Jazz bass type ) and preamp. The neck looks wide but is so easy to play, if you play a 5 string this would be an easy transition. I can honestly say shuker basses are amazing value. Its taken me a long time and lots of money to find out. Quote
