Jayfaedoom
Hi, I am in a bit of a pickle. I am looking for a small yet giggable bass rig. I have limited storage space in my house... but I need a rig that is useable at jams and gigs I play in a post hardcore band I am on a tight budget of about £500-600 max, and would prefer 2nd hand. I am wondering if a combo is the best option? Any advice?
stingrayPete1977
Get a good class D head like a Mark Bass, TC or Genz from the for sale section to save room and then get a scruffy 4x10 and keep it in the garden under a tarp. You can add a nice 1x12, 1x15, 2x10, 2x12 or 8x10 when money and space allow. It's the most versatile way IMO
xgsjx
Like Pete says, a small class D head is a good option. You should pick one up for @ £3-400 s/h on here. A couple of hundred should get you a decent wee cab, tho you might be better looking at a non neo 2x10 for £2-300. Other option is something like a Markbass combo s/h (usually around the £600 mark depending) or a wee Genz rig maybe.
