stoker Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 anyone know if there is any way of making straps longer without getting a new one? one of mine is at full extension and it's not quite at a comfy length. Quote
misrule Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 If it's a two-part thing, like a Levys with a loop-through system, you can order longer back bits to extend them. I recently ordered the back portion of a Levys suede strap to make mine longer for a T-bird. Cheers Mark Quote
Delberthot Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 When I moved the strap button on the Thunderbird, my strap wouldn't fit onto the strap button which was now at the end of the heel so I found an Ebay seller selling one of those extension thingies and just attached it using a nut, a bolt and 2 big washers. They suggested it when I asked about extra-long Levys straps that they sell in America. They ordered the extension in but it arrived quickly. Cheers Mark Quote
