Whats your favorite bass effect?

but a decent chorus can be so versatile. Many moons ago I used to use the chorus on an old plastic Boss m/fx board, for an envelope filter type sound for playing Lenny Krevice songs.

cool! Sounds like some of the stuff i'm doing, but I always tend to use delay as opposed to reverb. I don't even think I have a reverb pedal!! Maybe my zoom does reverb

I like delay, but I can't really use it in the band because the vocalist/keyboarder and the guitarist use delays a lot and I think a third one'd just be silly. It's hard to match tempo too and it'd just end up a mess!

Yeah, and I'm sure you could involve a midi controller in there somewhere. But basically, I don't see the point in having guitars, bass, keys/synths and vox all delayed!

Yeah I was in a band for a while where the guitarist used a lot of delay and reverb and digital chicanery, and it pretty much ruled me out of doing that on bass, but left the door wide open for me to use fuzz and other noisy stuff.

I think you got a pretty sweet deal there. FUZZ/SYNTH > Delays and Ambience IMO.

Gotta be dirt for me. I find it easy to use in songs without sounding like its there for the sake of using an effect. I like an aggressive tone so I never play clean.
